Summary
The air was thick with a nauseatingly sweet scent; fresh snow, sea and blood mixing together in an awfully familiar coil of temptation, a clear bid for any worthy alpha around to claim and calm an omega worthy of the entire world. Or at least, a part of it. Although, the burning glare coming from those dull azure eyes served as an argument for otherwise.
Nothing, that was what Tartaglia was supposed to be to him. And he had been. Though there were times Capitano was allowed to witness his rowdiness first-hand. It was a disaster like everyone proclaimed, and he never intended to get more involved with him.
But the Tsaritsa didn’t care.

Childe is left in Capitano's care during his heat, and it becomes more than what both of them bargained for.

Summary
It was wrong.
No amount of yelling got the statue of the man to move. No amount of talking, begging, threatening or touching got the Captain to even twitch; there was nothing beyond the steady rise and fall of his chest, a faint beat of his heart. He was gone. Practically catatonic, and yet, it didn’t feel right, because the very best of them couldn’t just leave or die, could he?
Why was it hard to think about a world without Capitano, when he lived in a world thriving over the carcasses of gods? When he has already seen the rise and fall of beings capable of changing the world to their liking?

Good boy.
Capitano’s lips twitched, and he allowed half a smile to push through. He noticed the subtle shift of Tartaglia’s gaze too, how red bloomed underneath his eyes at the small hint of Capitano’s true feeling. Adorable, and very endearing. It was ridiculous how quickly Tartaglia managed to dig through all of his walls. How vulnerable did he make himself to allow it before stopping it completely? Had he wanted companionship, closeness, that badly he was willing to indulge the whims of a very pretty, young face?
“You’re going to keep me warm.”
Capitano stepped back, away from the dirty alley wall, and continued out of the shadows, carrying Tartaglia towards the parking lot.
“Captain…” Tartaglia sounded intrigued by the prospect, not putting two and two together until the sight of multiple motorcycles lined up came into view. “You can’t mean —”

Summary

Summary
“Sir, I can do it,” Childe blurts out, before Capitano can get another word in. “Let me show you. Please, sir.”
He drags out the please, sir, like a petulant, whining child, and Capitano can see genuine earnestness as he shifts forward on his feet. There’s no deception in it. No seduction. Just raw, unfiltered desperation—which makes it all the sweeter.
“…Very well,” Capitano says, reclining slightly. “Do not blame me for what results.”
Or: Childe tries to prove himself to the Captain. (And gets totally wrecked in the process.)

“Hard at work today, I see,” he says, thrumming his fingers against the desk. “What paperwork are you being forced to plough through this time?”
…No response.
If it was anyone else, Childe would have taken the act of ignoring him as an invitation for battle. But Childe knows, he knows it's all a part of Capitano’s role. A scene that caters to both Capitano’s desire for power and Childe's need to be used. Used as a weapon… used as a toy… anything. Anything to give him a purpose.
And so Childe sets himself a mission: get Capitano’s attention.
