Summary
Geralt makes the choice to use Professor Moreau's lab and to enhance his mutations. Regis is quite correct in how he notes that Geralt always seemed to have more Higher Vampire traits than other Witchers. Now they're active, and the world may never be the same again.
Only Vampires have Alpha or Omega dynamics. Only Elders are Omegas. Only an Elder's blood allows Higher Vampires to spawn, and all of the clans were formed around the Omega that is their Elder.
There has been no new clan since the conjunction, for there are no new Omegas in this strange world they have been stranded in.
These facts make Geralt going into heat something the Elder can not pass up. No matter what Geralt was born as, he is a Vampire now. A new clan will be formed.
All Geralt wants is to keep Regis safe and stop the killing. If this is how he can accomplish that, well, he will just have to adapt.

They all tucked into their little houses, candles lit and looking out the window like maggots cowering inside a corpse.
Every now and then, people would lose belief. Belief that one day- they will die- and, when they do, they will be dragged down to the afterlife, like any other. It was inescapable, yet it did not stop them from forgetting. So it forced Geralt’s hand. He had to do something about it, it was a rule. And what else was death to do but kill? This world was in connection with many others, so if it’s entire population were to suddenly... disappear... that would cause quite a commotion among them all, hm?”
Witchers are gods who have to keep it a secret. Geralt sees regis again, chaos ensues

It takes him until the last piece of armour is shed to put his finger on what he’s feeling. His fingers skate across the exposed skin at his collar and his breath catches. An aphrodisiac. Geralt snorts. He supposes he should be thankful that that’s all it was. Could’ve been paired with an amorous plant. Dandelion would never let him live it down.
geralt runs afoul of a breed of archespore he's never seen before. lucky for him, someone's nearby to help.

1) He still loves Regis;
2) The Resonance allows him not only to see Dettlaff's memories, but also connect to both vampires' emotions;
3) Corvo Bianco is as much of a gift as it is a punishment; now that he has a home he has no family to fill it.Considering these fact, after a failed attempt to retire, Geralt saddles Roach, gets his swords, and sets out on the Path once again.

(If you haven't read 'Pretend a Little', all you need to know to read this is that Sean and Nick are pretending to date).
Or, basically, I take a part of 'Pretend a Little', and then divert into porn territory.Each chapter is a complete 'scene', and while they diverge from 'Pretend a Little' they are in no way part of that fic, instead just using it as a springboard. Pretend a Little is warm and fluffy. This is hot and steamy.

Summary
Harveste began like this - another inconspicuous day in a slew of boring days, starting off with a perfunctory visit to the market, messing about with what could possibly be a very silly idea, and ending in a sense of accomplishment and the first installment. The day after that, buoyed into hitherto unfamiliar levels of ecstasy by readers’ comments (seriously, thank you so much to my first readers), the second installment. And then it just snowballed from there: the researching, the planning, watching and searching out all the little macabre details in a feverish giddy rush.
My absolute favorite project, hands down, and the one I’ve had the most progress with. I’m quite proud that this is the first contribution I’ll be making to AO3, and I’m certain it won’t be the last. I hope this inspires me to continue and finish what I’ve started, because dear Harveste deserves that.
