The boy’s face is serious, his gaze holding the others with a fierce intensity and for a second the young prince forgets how to breath.

I don't plan on sitting here all day with you.” A dismissive hand gesture as Leon follows along with the point of the pen on a different paper, writing down different codes he finds on a bright pink sticky note. “You'll wait however long this takes.”

Huddled up in a corner of an abandoned building, Mark tried to get his wits about him.
“Welcome to Gotham, Invincible. You’ll enjoy your stay.” Was the last Angstrom said to him, before the portal closed, separating Mark and Oliver from their injured mom.

Mark's words echoed in Oliver's mind. Even though Oliver insisted that Mark teach him how to fight, his older brother didn't budge. He was determined to train him nice and slow, and that meant learning how to properly fly first.
But Oliver doesn't want to do that! He wants to help people, throw punches, and kick some serious ass! He can't do that if Mark refuses to teach him how to fight. So, one night, Oliver decided to sneak out and do some flight training of his own to speed up the process.
It was a good plan!—How was he supposed to know he'd somehow end up getting lost! Where was he anyway?
April had made him memorize the entirety of United States, and he's confident a city called 'Gotham' didn't exist!
Man, Mark's going to be so mad!
