“You’re making quite a name for yourself.”
The woman appeared one night, stepping out from behind a tall tree. At first, he could hardly make out her paper-thin silhouette in the darkness, her midnight hair falling down past her waist. But her face glowed, and he could see the barest hint of a smile. Even if he did not already recognise the stranger as Wednesday’s mother - it wouldn’t have been hard to figure out. Not from the dark, focused eyes or the way that she looked straight through him, and not from her long black dress. Not from her statuesque beauty and similar doll-like features, all pale skin and maroon-painted lips. But from the way that even looking at her made him hurt.

Morticia finds Tyler out in the woods, angry and destroying everything in his path. She comes to a realisation that perhaps his feelings for her daughter were not so fake after all, and decides that it is time for them to talk.

Laying on top of her, once again with the upper hand. Maybe he’d shift right now and bite her throat out, or stay in human form and strangle her while looking deeply into her eyes. Oh how half of her wished he didn’t disappoint.
