“I always forget that you can just like, walk around there whenever you want,” Ned mumbled, grabbing one of the permission slips off the stack and standing up to walk the remainder back to Mr Harrington, Peter following closely behind.

Midtown's field trip to SI, but Peter sits this one out to stay home and make rounds in the lab. Of course, absolutely nothing goes to his plan.

He had dark, wavy blonde hair and sharp blue eyes, his red lips looking like they were made for smirking even if they were just lightly parted in disbelief right now. His features looked like they were carved out of marble from the devil himself. He was so unfairly attractive that Cassiopeia honestly just wanted to punch him, especially as she remembered he’d just been holding her throat and pinning her to a wall.

So, when Albus Dumbledore called her to a muggle home to transfer the infant that just defeated the dark lord to the care of the painfully average muggle family, she had several protests.
“What do you suggest then, Minerva? What family could keep her safe from those who are angry with their lord’s defeat, while not allowing her to be placed on a pedestal? There are too many that would take advantage of such access to the girl-who-lived, as they are calling her.” Dumbledore asked distractedly.
An idea occurred to her. An idea more reckless and Gryffindor-like than any stunt her students had pulled since the Marauders graduated.
“I could do it,” she said, hardly believing the words were leaving her own mouth.
