Of course the Eltingville club are genius, just not the conventional nerds in school, they know all about comics, from when the first edition start to even that lost media comment the author did to use in an online discuss, meanwhile Fran, just a gamer who tends to do things he shouldn't, as smoking, school fights and arson, just get orbitating around them.
Thing is they share another thing outside fandoms, and toxicity (in a literal way too maybe since this assholes don't bath), and those are bad grades.
So when Mrs Reynolds saids they will repeat year if they don't get extra credits, they will repeat year, and Ms Rogers, teacher of theater, along her assistant, Ms Green, get an idea of how help this dumbasses for once.
Or where the Eltingville club and his ally is forced to work in a stupid play that isn't even well writted or well financiated.
