An apology would not be enough to make up for years of estrangement, and Shuuichi was nowhere near ready to confront this shift in their relationship with Seiji just yet, but...
After the matters in the old Miharu household were wrapped up, Shuuichi dropped a bottle of Royal Milk Tea and a box of Kinoko no Yama into his shopping basket during his next convenience store run, packing them in his messenger bag afterward. He has enough encounters now to remember the talisman painted onto Seiji's eyepatch, and so he slipped a replica as well into each of his jackets, even though he knew it was a longshot before the fabric would ever see the light of day.
Or: an honest attempt to rebuild a burned bridge, from Natori Shuuichi and the favorite snacks of a certain Matoba clan head that he carried around in his messenger bag, quietly waiting for their moment to shine.

A hand clapped itself to his forehead, the brazenness of the action betraying its owner's panic. "What... You do have a fever..! I knew you were behaving weirdly!"
"...How rude. I'm fine, Shuuichi-san." He attempted to swat Natori's hand away; when he missed, he didn't quite have it in himself to try again. It was kind of nice to just stare up at Natori's handsome face, so open in its worry.
For me. The worry in his face is for me.
Matoba pushed himself up into a sitting position; Natori removed his hand, but only to help him up. "I'm alright..."
"No you're not." Natori's face was swimming in and out of focus now; perhaps Matoba should've stayed down. "You don't even realise you've been calling me by my first name, do you..?"
Or: Matoba collapses after an exorcism, and Natori brings him home.
