"I wanted to talk about something" Ada murmured after a minute, watching the back of his shirt stretch out as he grabbed the things to make dinner. He always wore tight shirts that stretched out whenever he moved, and it always showed every bit of his broad shoulder.
"About what?" He asked, turning to face her, guessing her talk was more important than dinner right now. Ada sighed when he pulled a stool and sat opposite her at the kitchen counter, putting his elbows on it and basically giving her his whole attention.
She hated -loved- how he was so considerate, always picking on if the topic was important or not, paying his full attention to every single word she spoke as if someone was going to examine him in what she just said. It was adorable, really. Ada didn't really know how she met someone like him

She was obedient, quiet, naïve maybe, but there was an air of maturity to her that wasn’t present in other children. In their first meeting and babysitting session, Lara spent most of her time at a distance, eyeing her warily, studying her with side-glances and careful peeks as she read her books and drew pictures. Ana found it strangely amusing, the only one who was suspicious of her presence was the little girl.
