Danny needs a place to lay low. He thought he'd find peace in the Infinite Realms but everyone is trying to pick a fight with him! Leave this Halfa alone! Clockwork has an idea that leads to Danny striking a deal with Lady Gotham. In exchange for sanctuary, Danny will filter her corrupted ectoplasm. She tells him that if he's in any danger, then Danny may go to her Knights. But Danny's not the type of person to go asking others for help. Especially if he thinks he can handle it by himself.
What Danny doesn't know is that the Knights of Gotham are very interested in meeting this new Meta that keeps popping up. He doesn't know that Lady Gotham is very invested in him meeting her Knights. Danny doesn't know that he's caught the eye of a certain undead Knight.
Danny is not ready for this new stage of his life, but he's going to commit to being a True Gothamite!

Summary
Prince Timothy Drake-Wayne knew what was expected of him, to fade into the background among his siblings. He knew he was loved but the people would never accept him on the Throne, not that he wanted it. His future had changed in the course of one unexpected battle. His survival was a miracle and his family loved him, no matter what.
He never wanted to see battle again, but he still felt horrible when his siblings and Father rode off to fight against the hordes of Pariah Dark and the Infinite Kingdom. So the sudden silence and lack of attacks for two years were a wonderful break, a time when he didn't have to worry about them coming home wounded or worse.
And then the letter arrived. Pariah Dark had been deposed, somehow. And now, the newly crowned High Chief demanded negotiations, supposedly for peace. But they knew the truth. This High Chief Phantom could take whatever he wished from them and they did not have the manpower or resources to stop them, not after so long at war.
So what would he want in exchange for peace?

Summary

During one such trip Jaskier witnesses the murder of a noble he was supposed to be pleasing, and sees the faces of the assassins; to keep him from identifying them to the authorities, Jaskier is taken with them when they leave, and finds himself held in the royal palace of Rivia. Life in Rivia is anything but what Jaskier would have expected and both the king of Rivia and his right hand are unlike any nobles Jaskier has ever known; the more time he spends with them, the more he realizes that they might just be what they seem to be—good men.
