Summary
After the King of Solstice passes away, Prince Zanka Nijiku is forced to take the throne as the first alpha born into the family. Zanka confidently accepts and decides to become the new king of his lands, but there’s one problem. The council won’t let him ascend unless he follows the tradition of having an omega rule by his side. He begrudgingly agrees to an arranged marriage as long as this omega stays out of his way and lets him focus on his kingly duties.

He and Rudo had been fighting— finally! Again!— and they usually go at it for hours when Rudo just had… passed out mid fight— fell over and crashed like a ragdoll. And Jabber knows it’s not any of his toxins because he hadn’t managed to land a hit yet. Which was like, totally unfair, bruh. Of course Bakugo had lost, which was utter bullshit, but not something he planned on dying over. He could handle losing. What he couldn’t handle, what got under his skin in the worst way, was the look on Sero’s face when it happened. That lazy, lopsided grin, stretched wide as he pointed across the table like he’d just won something life-changing.
“Sleepover in your room,” he said, like it was nothing. “That’s the deal.”
Bakugo had stared at him, silent, unmoving, the only giveaway of his rage a sharp tick at the edge of his jaw. “The hell do you need a sleepover for? You five?”
Sero didn’t even blink. “Nope. But you lost. Gotta honor the game.” He leaned back further, limbs long and loose, smugness practically dripping from every word. “I’m already packed.”
