Summary
Sukuna grabbed Yuuji by the neck, his palm engulfing the column of Yuuji’s throat. He could nearly make a perfect ring around Yuuji’s neck and the power from that knowledge was heady, a rush that thrilled and excited Sukuna. He squeezed, a silent threat.
Drawing Yuuji close enough that their noses brushed, Sukuna said, “You know what that means, otouto.” It was not a term of affection, rather a reminder, a warning, and a dark promise wrapped into a single word. It meant punishment. It meant Sukuna’s patience was less than a thread. It was gone, and he was tired of Yuuji’s shit.
Yuuji’s choked and gurgled “wait” wasn’t dissimilar to the last one that had been pleaded. He gripped Sukuna’s wrist, nails biting into flesh until small beads of blood welled and ran rivulets over his skin. Yuuji squeezed, cursed energy flooding into his hands, and tried to grind the bones in Sukuna’s wrists together hard enough to make him let go. Sukuna didn’t, but in return, he tightened his grip, cutting off Yuuji’s shallow, panicked breathing. Red crept from beneath Sukuna’s hand and up Yuuji’s face, clashing with the pink of his hair. Wide golden eyes became blurred and watery as Yuuji’s mouth opened and closed fruitlessly.
