Peter Parker had a routine. He’s 28, does his jobs, patrols, hangs out in his shoddy apartment alone. What happens when routine breaks, and he can’t keep up with pushing people away anymore? He’s got a mountain of grief kicked into the back of his cupboards and haunting the edges of his apartment.
In which Peter deeply underestimates the impact affection deprivation can have and gets a little out of it when he finally finds someone to talk to.

Summary
Deadpool's been acting strange, and Peter noticed. It’s like he... enjoyed being bossed around? By Peter. Or, by Spiderman. He reacted really weird to Spiderman’s instructions. He made jokes that Peter wasn’t sure were jokes. He pushed Spiderman, intentionally annoyed him and initiated shoving fights until Peter snapped and slammed Deadpool into the wall. And then he’d go limp, like putty in Spiderman’s grip.
Peter didn’t quite know what to make of it. So, like the scientist he was, he decided to run an experiment.
