Summary
From the barracks floor and the midnight watch, the clones tell what civilians can’t: the Jedi aren’t just heroes—they’re the gravity that bends rooms, the silence you can hear.
A chorus of troopers catalogs the small hauntings and fierce kindnesses that come with serving beings who are a little sideways to reality, and the quiet oath to catch them when the galaxy tries to take them back.

Summary
He struck hard and fast, bringing his blade up while lunging forward. His eyes widened in actual surprise when his blades didn’t immediately slice through the chest plate. If anything they sort of sparked loudly against the armor.
That was new.
“Osik, beskar!” Boba was suddenly slinging an arm over his other shoulder. A blaster appeared in his peripheral and then Boba was firing rapidly. His ear rang from the sound of the weapon going off so close, but he didn’t flinch away. “He isn’t fully covered.”

Summary
They don’t know. Fox’s batchmates don’t know how much time, how much work, how much stress, how much pain goes into keeping the Corrie Guard safe. They may not be dying on battlefields, but they’re still dying in streets and alleyways and at politicians’ commands, and on top of that, they’re being abused. The Corrie Guard doesn’t have a Jedi to protect them, but even if they did, they wouldn’t be able to put a stop to the verbal abuse from civvies and politicians alike, to the beatings, to the sexual assaults.
Fox pushes himself to the limits to keep his vod’ikase safe—and he keeps doing so, even when it starts destroying him.
He’ll keep doing it even if it destroys him completely.
