Written for Day Four of Caitvi week 2025!!
“You got a name, pretty girl?” The lifeguard, Vi, asked– shaking Caitlyn’s hand rather fiercely.
Caitlyn scrambled a little, a result of the sudden, maybe slightly unexpected contact. “Uhm– yes! It's Caitlyn,” she explained, before asking for Vi’s own name– just to be sure he wasn't tricking her, “You're.. Vi, yes?”
“Isn't that what Jayce just told you?”
“Wanted to check with you first– you can never trust him,” called Caitlyn's poor attempt at a joke; one she didn't consider to be particularly funny.
Vi, however, laughed – a deep, hearty, rather beautiful laugh.
And it took Caitlyn every bone in her body to not slam her against the nearest beach hut wall, pressing their mouths together as fast and as rough as possible, desperate to see what Vi would look like all flustered– lips swollen and red, utterly kiss bitten.
Caitlyn gets forced out to the beach by her best friend Jayce, and unexpectedly meets who she thinks might be the love of her life.
