Feng Xin stares in disbelief as he watches Xie Lian, the Crown Prince, the Prince Who Pleased The Gods, kiss a Supreme rank ghost with full ferocity. He gets on his toes and cups Hua Cheng’s cheeks, pressing his eyes closed as their lips meet. Feng Xin’s jaw nearly hits the ground, and if they weren’t in the middle of a battle against vengeful spirits, he would probably be screaming his head off. Instead, he’s stuck with three other martial gods making up this stupid damn sword as they all watch the disturbing display of affection. It’s unsettling and frankly wholly uncouth in its obscenity. This is the one time in the archer’s life he’s wished with full sincerity that he were blind.
As their lips touch, Feng Xin is struck completely speechless, “…”
“…” Mu Qing is the same, staring with thinly veiled disgust.
“…?” Poor innocent Quan Yizhen has no idea what’s going on, ever.
“Ho ho,” Pei Ming, of course, is smirking and enjoying the view.
;or Feng Xin sees Hualian kiss and finds out gay people are real. He goes through a whole crisis involving some strange feelings toward his so called rival.

Hua Cheng just glared at him, singular eye glowing red.
“Yeah, yeah,” Feng Xin sighed. “Save some of that for Pei Ming. I’m just the guy he turned to to fix his fuck-up.”
“Oh, believe me, I’ve saved a lot for Pei Ming,” Hua Cheng promised in a voice that sent chills down Feng Xin’s spine. Then, he tossed his dice and the two of them vanished in a flash.
The last thing Feng Xin was expecting when they arrived was to be met with an armful of Xie Lian and a pair of lips pressed to his own.
When a mission went wrong, Xie Lian forgot everything past his first ascension, including the fact that he broke up with Feng Xin and Mu Qing. In the process, old feelings were dredged up, new feelings were discovered, and Xie Lian remembered what it was like when he believed in forever.

“I’m going off, husband. See you tonight?” His husband dusts his hands off, wiping them on the front of Feng Xin’s robes before turning around, that fucker.
“Mn, see you later baobei.”
Feng Xin’s gaze follows Mu Qing’s figure as he disappears with a laugh into their palace with a whip of black hair down the corridor. He hoped that the uneasiness in his chest would dissipate once he spent time with Mu Qing but it sticks in between his lungs like an unwelcome dagger.
There are two things right now Feng Xin is very sure of: Mu Qing is a very skilled liar.
Something is most definitely wrong.In the aftermath, things have settled between Feng Xin and Mu Qing, now married, but when Mu Qing shows increasingly concerning and unexplainable symptoms, Feng Xin's concern drives them both towards an event that will change their lives for the rest of the eternity they've promised each other.
