allie jackson remembers the weight of the first prophecy that was trust upon her shoulders.
she's been removed from her home, her family, her job, and everything she knows just to be one of the saviors of the world again, something she'd been hoping she'd get a break from after the stressful few years she'd gone through. all she wants is to be with luke again and, even though she might get what she wants for a while, luke has a problem of his own, one that allie can't help with.
however, if there's one thing they are both in agreement on, it is that they don't care what comes... as long as they are together.

And then, today—his last day as cup bearer. Hermes had fulfilled the role and now a mortal was coming to take the job.
He expected someone radiant or happy or maybe terrified. What he did not expect was the boy walking quietly beside Hebe, barefoot and blinking sleep from his sea-glass eyes. He was slouched like he didn’t know what to do with his spine. His eyelids fluttered sleepily as if Olympus itself wasn’t enough to hold his attention.
Hermes blinked.
He was beautiful.
"This is Perseus," Hebe said cheerfully. “He prefers Perse.”

Eros tilted his head slightly, watching her like she was some fascinating puzzle.
And then, annoyingly, he smiled.
“I see,” he murmured. “Then I suppose I’ll have to make you remember.”
Percy frowned.
Eros stepped closer, his presence warm and overwhelming. He lifted a hand and cupped her cheek. “I won you over once, my love.” His voice was soft. “I will do so again.”
