Content Warnings: robot self harm (pulling out/reattaching a component while awake, descriptions of pain)
・♡・
Tenna smears his hand over his screen, shuddering. He can't help it—he needs Spamton's hands back on him, small and deft, able to work miracles that he couldn't even have imagined until a few months ago—hands that had been in so many other circuits and machines, picking through them dispassionately, trying to find parts of value and discarding everything else. If he can't ever be touched by those hands again, Tenna hopes earnestly that Spamton dies in a fire before he ever gets them on anyone else.
・♡・
In a moment of weakness, Tenna tries to recreate the way that Spamton used to touch his wiring. In a moment of rage, his clumsy hands disconnect a vital component, leaving him desperately seeking help at his most vulnerable. In a moment of clarity, he's forced to reckon—both literally and metaphorically—with the way that Spamton had rearranged his inner world, and the aching gap that his parting had left behind.

Summary
“Or we could just go to your house!”
“My house?!”
“Yes! I’ll only need a couch to crash on—oh, will your roommates mind?”
“They’ll be fine,” Mike says automatically. His head is spinning; the sensation of Tenna’s fingers on his mouth is still imprinted onto the surface of his mind. “You sure the studio isn’t—”
“I’ve never been to your house!” Tenna continues, as if he hadn’t heard him. His voice is dialed up again, much too loud. “Isn’t this exciting!”

Summary
It was a foregone conclusion that Tenna was stronger than Spamton. It was obvious in everything about him. In his stature, towering so high that Spamton barely reached above the knee of his resting height. In his status as the ruler of his Dark World, where Spamton was just a regular Addison in his. It followed, then, that their magic followed the same rule. Spamton was weak, even by Addison standards, but it wouldn’t have mattered. Tenna was the ruler of an entire Dark World. Reality itself bent to his whims here. Spamton’s magic was a fading candle in the face of Tenna’s bonfire, fighting to stay lit. So weak that his attacks hardly felt like attacks at all.
OR: In the Big Shot Era, Tenna realizes the full force of his and Spamton's power differential. In the present day, Spamton demonstrates just how much he's changed since then.

Summary
“What did it promise you?” King paused, his entire body stilled by the question, mostly due to the confusion it caused.
“...What are you talking about?” he asked gruffly. He had no idea what Tenna was getting at, but something about the TV’s demeanor was starting to worry him. There was something unsettling about the severity to his new clown’s posture. His voice lacked the usual showmanship King was used to. There was a weariness to it now. An uncertainty that felt much weightier than Tenna’s usual nervousness.
“The Knight. What did it promise you?"OR: A few days into Tenna's stay in Castle Town, he and the King he's been roped into entertaining have an actual discussion.
