Summary
The ground suddenly split up not far from where Neuvillette stood, a crevasse forming that destroyed the bed of flowers. Before Neuvillette could try to get away in fear of getting swallowed by the earth, from the crevasse emerged a chariot led by four majestic black horses. It sped past him, and a powerful arm snatched Neuvillette, hoisting him up onto the chariot to be pressed against a solid, warm chest. His gaze snapped up, to lock with a pair of icy blue eyes that chilled him to the bone.
“ Hold on tight, my queen. This will not be a pleasant ride,” said the king of the underworld.

After a fateful meeting with Wriothesley, the king of the underworld, Neuvillette is taken to his kingdom to become his queen. But can Neuvillette accept Wriothesley's impulsive decision to tear him away from his life on the surface?

Summary
Wriothesley shakily grabbed his rosary and brandished it towards the Incubus. “Begone, demon!” exclaimed the priest, heart hammering in his chest.
He expected the demonic entity to attack him, to pin him to the bed and have his way with him. Instead, the silver-haired beauty stayed still, unblinking.
“I wish you no harm, human,” said the Incubus, with a smooth and suave voice. It had a rich quality to it that Wriothesley had no trouble believing could easily seduce its preys.
Wriothesley kept his rosary between them, even though he was unsure of the effect it could have in repelling this demon. He certainly did not seem afraid of it.
