“Sensei. You're supposed to tell me how bad these are for my health and punish me for smoking on school grounds, you know?" Yuji blurts out.
Why the hell is he bringing that up?!
"Mm, true,” Gojo says. “But you don't need me telling you that. Yuji is a smart boy, he already knows how bad they are. As for punishment… I have a different way of punishing disobedience." He grins, all teeth, and Yuji’s mind wanders in a very questionable direction, all on its own. He’s blushing furiously, incredulous at his track of mind.
What the fuck, Itadori!?
“Ah, Yuji-kun. Catch.” Gojo throws something at him. Yuji catches it, dropping the cigarette butt in the process. An apple-flavoured lollipop.
“For the taste.” Gojo explains, waving as he walks off. Yuji is left staring after him, a little dumb-struck from their whole interaction.

Summary
At last, Winter takes over and nearly rips Stark’s suit apart, gets his arm blown off in the process. That isn’t the end of it, though. Rogers and Stark are still fighting and James is frantically pulling Winter back once more, right in time for him to stop Roger’s shield from slicing Stark in half. There’s a moment where the dust settles and no one says anything and Winter watches through James’ eyes as Stark blinks his own open, practically hears his heart beating madly under that suit of armor. Then it’s just Stark staring at Winter- James, actually, who is crouched above him not unlike Rogers’ stupid shield, only the intent this time was to protect Stark. Whatever the reason for James’ action, it leaves all three of them muted for a while, until Rogers shifts and Winter realises they can both feel the shield having come down on their back instead. He’s still propped up on his hand, hanging over Stark but the moment’s dissipated when one of them speaks.
“What the fuck,” Stark whispers, blinking dirt out of his eyes, his heart rate still through the roof.

“What!?” Not a moment later, there’s a huge clatter of chairs being shoved haphazardly away and feet pounding on the floor. Stiles is already running toward him.

As he walks towards the door, Nanami looks at his back, and has to narrow his eyes in order to make sure he hasn’t gone blind.
On the back of Itadori’s white T-shirt, there’s a text, in bold, black letters, big enough that even if Nanami were almost blind, he couldn’t miss it.

AAAHHH!” Kugisaki screeches, and Yuji jumps.
“Why is the country peasant using makeup that I can’t even afford?!” She yells, stomping over to stare murderously at him.
“Because Sensei takes care of Yuji-kun~.” Gojo brags, his fingers cold on Yuji’s jaw.
“But it’s wasted on him!” Kugisaki somehow manages to sound angry and whiny at the same time.

Yuji looks up, and his Sensei is right there, the only white thing in this place.
“Sensei,” Yuji says, only wondering if he made him up, maybe.
Gojo-Sensei crouches down beside the pool, curious. He’s not wearing a blindfold or shades. Which is why his eyes are almost blinding to look at, amidst the pure black.
Yuji can’t look away, even if they hurt.

“Itadori. I’ve been wondering for a while now, but what’s with that ring around your neck?” Kugisaki asks him.

He might have had a name, a life, a mortal body. He might have lived for a while, as something else. He’s been here for too long- long enough to know how dark is the dark above the atmosphere, and how long the newborn stars will live. He knows the eerie sound of planets, like they’re mourning, like they’re calling. He hates that sound. It feels like he should remember something, every time he hears them.

Ilya pulled his hand gingerly out of Shane’s grip, planning to tuck them both under his thighs where Shane couldn’t see, but Shane caught him again despite his disorientation, as if drawn to Ilya’s skin by a magnet. He blinked his huge, dark, bottomless eyes at Ilya as a heavy silence filled the space, and Ilya felt like he was standing on the edge of a cliff, being pulled forward over the precipice with nothing to grab onto.
“It looks like you hit someone.”
