Summary
After joining the rebellion, Kallus’ life changed for the better. On Yavin, he found a cause truly worth fighting for, people he cared about, and a position inside Intelligence where his skills were put to good use. Things were good. He had no desire to change any of it.
Only, it seemed that change had simply been waiting for him.
Strange things began to happen around Kallus. Things that didn’t make sense. Things that shouldn’t be possible. But as there were more important things to focus on, Kallus rationalized it all away and pushed it out of his mind. This held true until the moment he watched Zeb about to die at the hands of the Empire, prompting Kallus to somehow do the impossible - and without meaning to, take his first stumbling steps down a path he never would have believed was meant for a man like him.
