Summary
Everyone else had returned home from their battle stations, and he reveled in the knowledge that his friends and family were okay. With the loose ends tied up, Mike's thoughts focus solely on the return of the remaining soldiers. A quick call earlier on the Supercom confirmed their safety, but he still needs to see her for himself... El is alive. After three hundred fifty-three long days — maybe a little more, but his perception of time is a bit skewed right now — she returned.
Obligatory "post closing the Gate in Season Two" fic in anticipation of the release of Season Five Vol 2 & 3.

Summer break has finally come! Mike and Eleven spend time in the cabin and feel how their "Good nervousness" (Stomach butterflies basically) turns exciting and fantastic. Eleven feels happy to care about and want someone so much, and Mike conveys what he struggles to say with kisses- so very many kisses.
Unfortunately, that love language resulted in a new rule on the doorway. Whoops.Series

I feel like all I say is "it's been a while" but why deny the truth?!
Today (it's past midnight in the UK) is Mileven Day and for the first time in a long time I felt inspired to write. I didn't actually know what, so I just put some music on and went with it. Not sure it's anything good because I'm incredibly rusty, but if I want to improve then I need to get practising.
