"After killing Lieutenant Nolan, Crosshair doesn’t expect to wake up on an unfamiliar ship, or for his assessment of Mayday’s vitals to have been so wrong. Meanwhile, Mayday has to come to terms with the knowledge that there is a control chip in his head.
Together, they locate the clone rebellion and undergo surgery to remove their chips. Then, the two are sent to a remote island where they deal with their respective nightmares and learn what making their own decisions looks like."

If he had to describe himself, Flambae would need three words, and three words alone:
Hot, strong, heroic. Two of these were objective.

Chad exists in pieces. Most of them not good. But trying their best not to be worse.

Summary

However, somewhere between beating Shroud and returning to work, Flambae gradually begins to realize that maybe there was more to Robert than just the blind hatred he'd held onto for so long.
