Even with a new identity, Guy never makes it onto that ship. Instead, he finds himself back in a maze of secrets and fangs. His loyalty isn't for sale this time, though, and it just so happens that its previous owner is not only willing to stake his claim again, but is much closer than he thinks.

His current predicament is Jasper’s fault, though rather than fault it’s just common sense in this case. He’d said something about keeping distance from each other once classes started again, and Guy had looked just like a puppy who’s been told off for chewing at the drywall. Jasper had reasoned they couldn’t be caught making eyes at each other, Guy had pouted and called him paranoid, said something about ‘never would’ve said anything otherwise’ Jasper didn’t quite catch. He’d left Jasper’s apartment after slamming the door in his face.
A fight, he supposes. Jasper doesn’t like it.
