“Baa?” Said sheep bleated in confusion. The brunet smiled but it was strained.
“You see, I kinda… have a crush on your trainer.”
“Baa!?” Woolie cried out in shock. Victor laughed, turning his head to the dubwool.
“Why do you sound so surprised?” He asked with a slight grin
The sheep’s widened eyes fleetingly went to his other side, where Hop was laying the entire time, hidden by Woolie’s thick wool. Said boy was flat on the ground, as if he could remain more hidden, and had the fiercest blush on his face at the confession he just heard.

You keep your head down until you get a job working at V Tower, where you throw yourself into working as hard as possible in the hopes of being useful to Vox.
[ Nahsty rolled her eyes, chuckling. “You’re always looking at your phone. And it’s always Vox on the screen.” Looking at you with a mote of pity, Nahsty slung a winged arm around your shoulders, pulling your head down just in time to avoid a flying wrench. “You’re lost on him, aren’t ya, hon’?” she rephrased, pointing at Vox where he was giving a speech on your phone.
Blushing, you fumbled the tech, trying to lock the screen. Instead, you swiped the video away, settling on the home screen. Which was a picture of Vox, grinning slyly at the viewer. Nahsty lifted a brow, and, sweating, you finally managed to lock the screen.
The lock screen was a different image of Vox, lounging in a chair with hooded eyes.
Nahsty raised her other brow. “Yeah, you got it bad, sweetie.” ]

Being one of the top news reporters in New Orleans, Louisiana has its perks. Everyone listens to what you have to say. Everyone treats your word as gospel. And nobody bothers to think about the missing or dead television hosts too much when you’re on-screen.
That was how it was always supposed to be, until Vincent Whittman moved from Virginia to New Orleans.
Now there’s not only the elusive, charming, infuriating radio host who has his own radio show to track, but another news reporter who works at the same station and just so happens to be the other host of the prime evening slot show you run.
After all, how is a news reporter in New Orleans supposed to rise in the ranks if there are obstacles in the way?
