Viktor would be here in little over half an hour. And that was good. Everyone knew that Viktor was the best of the very best because everyone here was the best and he was the best of all of them. So it was okay.
Except Viktor was either going to fly off the handle and maim everything on sight after watching the first half of that video or he was going to shatter into brittle shrapnel and launch himself like the honed weapon he was at anything vaguely responsible. Either or really. Hard to tell.

Summary
Yuuri startled, woken from slumber by a vibration traveling up one of his threads. His many eyes saw nothing in the darkness of his nest, his pointed ears heard nothing unusual. Faint but certain, another thread twanged, then another, soft but still sending a shiver down Yuuri’s spine. Others rarely ventured this far into the tunnels, one of the reasons Yuuri had chosen to make his nest so far into the deep and dark of the underground, far from other fae and even further from the social niceties expected in the courts. But something had woken him, something big enough to trip his guard threads.
Slowly, stealthily, Yuuri crawled down the tunnel strung with silk to the very entrance of his lair. Sticking to the shadows, he cautiously peeked out into the cavern. There, outlined in the dim light, was another fae. Even folded along the back facing Yuuri, its wings were beautiful, bright and colorful and entirely out of place so far underground. This was a creature of light and air. A butterfly had made its way into the depths of the unseelie realm.
