“Sure. Just, ah…don’t expect much in the way of entertainment,” Steve grumbles.
“You can just sit there and look pretty, how’s that? Won’t be hard for you,” Eddie replies, smooth.
Steve’s cheeks heat up again.

A traumatic brain injury leads to a downward spiral for Steve. He's dropped from the Blackhawks, his recovery is slow and rocky, and he's got no idea what to do with his life.
Enter his old friends, Eddie and Dustin, who spend their time poking around decrepit haunted locations filming for their YouTube channel. Steve doesn't really believe in all this ghost stuff, but he's got nothing better to do than join them.
Besides, he might just be ever-so-slightly head-over-heels for Eddie Munson.

Eddie Munson has a broken beer bottle pressed to Steve Harrington’s throat when the door to the shed splinters and a gun cocks; a familiar chh-chh that resounds loud enough in the sudden ensuing silence that it breaks Eddie out of his death spiral.
“I ain’t one to mince words,” Wayne Munson says, staring down each and every pair of wide, ogling eyes. “So somebody better tell me why I got a dead girl in my trailer and my nephew’s name on the news.”
