Nothing could be so pressing as to have prevented Endeavor from showing up or shooting a message that he’d be late for this amount of time. Not without it making the news anyway.
He is this close to just saying fuck it and taking the kid with him. Let Endeavor work out the details later.
It’s of course right as Shouta is making the pettiest of plans when the man himself finally deigns to arrive.

It was weird, he thought. Two years of knowing each other and he’d never known Todoroki to be allergic to anything. Todoroki never even got sick - some weird benefit of the temperature-regulating properties of his quirk. Maybe this was a new thing. Either way, the half and half idiot obviously had no clue how to take care of himself. Not that it was Katsuki’s job to take care of him and yet here he was, fucking caring.
Shouto is allergic to cherry blossoms, Katsuki shows his caring side, and the two of them finally admit that maybe there’s something more to their relationship than “just friends”.
