She has eyes that are big and round, and sparkly, the innocence of her age coalescing into a brilliant constellation of stars. Her lips are petal shaped. They belong in artfully arranged bouquets, and orchards, alongside the apples in her cheeks as she smiles.
Chan blinks owlishly at her yearbook picture.
He's seen those eyes. He's traced those lips with his thumb. He's kissed this Juliet good morning and good night, and made her smile as wide as the sea so that her petal lips blossom into the brightest apple cheeks.
He'd been within his right to look all along. It didn't make him a creep.
Juliet isn't some strange high schooler. She's Chan's boyfriend!
Minho is always pretty. Chan thought he was the prettiest boy in the world the moment he laid his eyes on him. But seeing him with long hair, wearing Juliet's famous red gown for the Capulet ball, his lips deepened into that same scarlet shade… It strikes a different chord entirely.
