Summary
An 'innocent' video of Ilya and Shane is posted, and their lives are abrutply turned upside down. Forced seperation, security detail, no-contact and broken hearts ensue.
____He knows who it is without having to turn around. Even in silence, in darkness- in the dim corner of the world, Ilya has always had a way of commanding a space and making his presence known.
“Made it five minutes before running. Is new record, no?” Ilya says behind him, voice low and cruel.
Shane’s laugh comes out wrong, hollow and sharp, because of course Ilya would follow him just to be an asshole. He turns slowly, because part of him wants to see if this is real and part of him wants to rip the reality out by the roots.
“Fuck you,” Shane snaps, voice shaking with rage he didn’t realize he had. “After five months of silence, that’s the first fucking thing you say to me? Fuck. You.”
