Oh how he itched to speak to Alastor himself… Perhaps it was time for him to reveal himself?

Alastor knew he was being watched. He didn’t know by what or who, but he could feel a presence observing him. It was obviously something not human, something that had the powers to take control over his dreams. What he couldn’t understand was why. Why was this… thing so dead set on helping him? And more importantly, what would it require in return?
Or,
Alastor caught Lucifer's attention while he was still alive. He just didn't know that until he finally arrived in hell.

Basically Lucifer stalks Alastor while he’s alive (but not physically) and slowly becomes intrigued with the man. He manipulated Al’s dreams so they show the future of his victims and can better target them, and when Al begins to catch on to these supernatural interferences, Lucifer introduces himself to Alastor in those dreams
However, due to the rules of Heaven, he can’t give his real name. Hence, he goes by Zaqar.
And slowly, they fall in love :)

Summary
Lucifer is not where he expected he would be when God finally pulls the plug. No — he never would have guessed that fucker would be bold enough to try it on the very day he's meant to walk his daughter down the aisle.
He and Alastor haven't agreed on much since they split, but they align on this: they sure as Hell aren't going to let something as pedestrian as the Biblical apocalypse ruin Charlie's wedding.

Lucifer shakes his head. He doesn’t have the words yet to explain the gravity of his mistake. Alastor pulls Lucifer back into his arms, and Lucifer still doesn’t say anything — he just burrows deeper into Alastor’s embrace.

Summary
Lucifer Morningstar fell from Heaven onto Earth with blessed wings containing holy magic. Magic that the Root of All Evil sensed and desired for her own abilities.
Lucifer is taken one night from his family who he assumes has been killed and is locked in a tower for "protection," never knowing that he once ruled the biggest kingdom in the land.
Alastor is a murderous criminal being tracked down by Vincent and his team in order to "keep watch" over him.
Theft of the lost king's crown turns haywire, which leads Alastor to stumble upon a secret tower containing a hidden angel that would twist his path in ways he never would have imagined.

Summary
Alastor reached out with one hand again, laying it palm-up on the table.
Lucifer stared. “What?”
“Dance with me,” Alastor murmured, the smile that curved his mouth as insouciant as anything Lucifer had ever seen. “That is, assuming you are even capable.”
Weak after Charlie’s birth, Lucifer has no choice but to flee Hell when Adam brings an army of Exterminators and Heavenly Princes to his doorstep. With Lilith dead, Hell in shambles, and Lucifer in no position to right it, he flees to the only place he can think of: Earth. The human world is much different than he remembers, however, and his plan to simply keep himself and Charlie secluded in the first human city he lands in hits a snag when the woman from next door takes an interest in them and the strange radio show that, for months, has been Lucifer’s only mode of lulling his daughter to sleep, bringing her mysterious son into Lucifer's false life and threatening to bring the whole facade crashing down.

Lucifer flees hell with a very young Charlie to New Orleans. Alastor’s mother quickly becomes friends with the pair and eventually Alastor is roped into the mix
Lots of bickering, lots of dancing, lot of confusing, not quite Irish answers to questions, but they love and love the same
