With Kurama becoming the new Ten Tails by a fluke accident when he freed the Bijuu from the group of satellites Sasuke made in their final fight, and losing probably the only girl that would genuinely loved him, Hinata, in the war and losing Octopops against Madara, Naruto had been driven to the brink of loneliness
However when a spiffy time walking Professor from a destroyed timeline visits him, gifting him arguably the most powerful item in all of creation, and a new path for him to venture through
His world has already been saved, but there are countless others that need saving
So, he'll dust himself off, and leap headfirst into the path of something greater, he'll be the burning star that saves everyone and everything!

Summary
After leaving his original dimension for his own safety, going off the rails in grief for a period, and finally processing enough to be mildly human again, Danny is ready to give this whole 'living' thing a try again.
He's in Gotham, in a dimension that he's grown fond of, and trying to lay down roots so that he can survive comfortably. Unfortunately, he can't recall how to make friends. Also, he doesn't want anyone to know he's actually dead because what if something like the GIW happen here?
Regardless, if he wants to stay, he needs to have a support circle to help his obsessions from ripping his mind from him again, which means he needs to befriend people, which means he needs to figure out how to speak to the Bats of Gotham.
This would be easier if there wasn't a cult trying to bring in ghosts from the Infinite Realms to cause havoc and give Danny a bad name.

Summary
Jason's a lonely guy but would never admit that, so when he and Bruce have an argument, and Jason avoids the manor for a bit, he gets really lonely. He ends up at a playground (don't ask him how, it just happened that way), and gets asked which kid is his. He panics and says the only kid he spots with black hair and blue eyes, this just so happens to be the neighborhood ghostly child. Jason also may or may not kidnap said ghostly child, but that's neither here nor there.
(Jason lonely, Jason ends up at playground, Jason gets asked which kid his, Jason say danny bc awkward convo, Jason kidnap.)
