Summary
This takes place after Jinx fakes her death. Everyone thinks she is dead. Piltover celebrates when she dies. They saw her as just a monster, terrorist, a threat gone. But in Zaun, people mourn her death; to them, it’s losing someone brave, a hero, and a young girl who still had a life ahead of her. Jinx’s older sister was angry watching Piltover citizens celebrate her little sister’s death after she fought for them. Vi couldn’t even watch her sister die. She turned head and looked the opposite way, begging for her little sister to come back. Jinx closed her eyes and she gave vi one last smile. Then the blast took Jinx away. Ekko finally arrived at the Hexgates to take Vi away, he saw her crying and he pulled her close and hugged her. Vi didn’t even have to tell him what happened. He knew what Jinx did. His voice stayed calm though it hurt telling lies, insisting things were fine now - she’s somewhere safer. Lying felt hard, especially to violet who always treated him like her little brother still he held on because one promise to Jinx he had to keep. He thought to himself, was she safe right now? Did she leave? Will he ever see Jinx again?
