Viktor loves being alone. Most of the time, he can pretend that it is the reason he so often is. Because wouldn’t that make sense? People usually do the things they love.
Some other times, though, he’s reminded that as much as he loves being alone, he’s never actually chosen to be.

Summary
The stories say a siren's song is to be feared. They call it a curse, a death sentence.
They are wrong. The song is simply a beginning. The real danger is far softer, slower, and sweeter, a doom borne upon the siren's kiss.
Whatever the truth, Viktor has no cause for concern. For what would a siren want from a broken man like him, fleeing a lonely life in Piltover to another by the sea?

“There’s an alpha here to speak with you Viktor, is that ok?” Pause. “Excellent, I’ll send him through in a second.” She shut the hatch and turned to Jayce. “Any final questions?”
“Is there anything I can do to help, any way I should behave to help him feel less stressed?” he asked, wiping the sweat off his palms, the gravity of the situation finally catching up to him.
To his surprise, Vivienne just laughed, soft but sad. “That's very sweet,” she murmured, “but it won’t matter, love. You’re an alpha, and a stranger. Whatever you do, he’ll be terrified."It's been a year since the attack on the Council, since Jayce's life was forever changed. Both Piltover and Zaun have managed to move forward, towards a better future, and whilst Jayce is proud of the progress everyone else has made, he can't help but feel a little left behind. A visit to a struggling Omega Rescue Shelter, and an encounter with one of their longest residents might be what he needs to get his gears in motion.
