Summary
The Syndicate leaders weren’t bad people!
They did what the heroes were too materialistic to do.
After the villains got locked up, the city became a nightmare. Unless you were rich, then life was perfect.
Poorer districts lost funding and taxes were raised. No villains were around to oppose the heroes and speak up.
So, Wilbur took things into his own hands.
He was going to break Thanatos and Ares out of the vault.
Okay, okay! Wilbur knew it was a crazy idea! He had come to terms with the very high possibility of dying.
But Wilbur wasn’t alone. He recruited someone to help!
OR: Crime boys break Emeral Duo out of prison because why not? Too bad once Wilbur gets involved, he can't get out.

Summary
“Is everything alright?” Tommy asked. Wilbur nodded, teary eyed and sniffling. “Did someone get hurt?” Despite being a spy, he had grown to care for the Syndicate.
“Yes,” Wilbur sniffled, running his fingers through Tommy’s hair. “We’re all ok. Everything's fine, Little blackbird. No one is going to take you away.”
“What happened?”
Wilbur’s grip got even tighter. “Those heroes. They want to take you from us. I won’t let them.”
Or-Tommyinnit is an undercover hero, who was tasked with infiltrating and spying on the villain organization, the Syndicate. When his betray is found out Wilbur decides that he's not willing to let his little brother be used as a tool for the hero's any longer, no matter what Tommy might have to say for it himself.
