The government had assured everyone this wouldn't happen. But now Zanka is lost & on death's door. He meets a stranger in the forest when he's at his wits end &, to his surprise, this mysterious stranger saves his life. They go on to meet others & try to survive this thing together until someone who doesn't have the best intentions joins their group.
Tamsy works for a research facility that shouldn't exist. He has also spent years working secretly for one of the shell companies funding their research. He does something he can never take back & thinks he has escaped with no witnesses. Until he turns on the headlights of his car to see golden eyes glaring at him, holding his badge.
