Summary
The Reapers are gone, destroyed by the Crucible. The Normandy is stranded but they won’t always be. They’d get back but what little information they have from the moments before they left the Sol System tells Kaidan that he’s alone again. He knew that it would hurt if he ever lost Shepard and it does. He won’t regret that they had the time together that they did but that isn’t always enough to help bear the pain.
