Summary
Mere weeks after Sonic's very first group of adventures, the notorious Doctor Eggman has cooked up a brand new scheme. Predating on an aspiring show woman, he sponsors a race tournament. But why? For what purpose? That's what Sonic and the friends he's made over his adventures seek to find out. With Tails eager to help, Knuckles vying for any victory to hold over Sonic's head, and Amy pushing her way in through her own secret methods, the only way for him and any new friends to find out Eggman's plans... is to race!

Summary
Sonic the Hedgehog has always been free to do as he pleases, and it just so happens that he pleases to help others and put a halt to Eggman's evil schemes. He goes with the flow and does what seems right.
Metal Sonic hasn't known freedom in ages. His code forces him to adhere to strict orders, which he has long since given up on fighting. He is the greatest weapon in Doctor Robotnik's arsenal, and he acts as such.
But when a wish is accidentally made on the seven Chaos Emeralds, these two find themselves in the other's body, leading them down two paths. Sonic fights for his freedom in a body so against it, while Metal adapts to the wherewithal of an organic being. All the while, the two find out more and more about the other, and how they operate.
