Summary
Hanahaki disease: an illness born of one-sided love that causes flowers to grow within the infected patient’s lungs. If left untreated it will suffocate the host and kill them. The growth can be removed through surgery, but it will also remove the feelings along with the flowers. It can be cured without side effects if the feelings are returned.
Law wished he had died back under Doflamingo’s gun more than ever.

Summary
For as long as Marco has known him, Ace has been standoffish. He's never deliberately cruel, but he's always been closed off from the rest of the crew. The walls he's built around himself are something they've all come to accept. The sky is blue, the sea is too, and yeah. Their youngest member is a little defensive and mean sometimes.
Or at least, he is until Monkey D. Luffy crashes onto their deck, all rambunctious laughter and stretchy limbs. Ace may be a pirate now, but he was a doting big brother first.

Law and his crew are bombarded by the Strawhats unexpectedly in the middle of the night. They said they would be visiting for a few days. Those few days were spent partying on the Sunny and sleeping over. Only Law and Bepo slept in the Polar Tang to keep watch.
If only he knew it would end in disaster when he was attacked by good old nightmare.
