CatNap sighed, sitting on the curb in front of corner store. He lifted his left hand to his mouth and took a drag of the lit cigarette between his index and middle finger, letting the toxic smoke fill his lungs, before blowing it all out and repeating the cycle.
He heard someone walking up to him and saw someone crouch down in his peripheral vision. He turned to see a smiling orange dog. “Hello!” He greeted. CatNap raised a cautious eyebrow. This dog seemed way too happy to talk to him. Nobody was ever this happy to talk to him.
