He wished he had done something, anything, differently. Been brave, like he was supposed to be. Somehow saved Peter and Lily and James. Stopped Sirius from going insane. Done anything to not end up here. In some crypt in an abandoned graveyard, the door locked shut, right before the full moon.
It was ironic. Having his full moons in a crypt. He felt like he was dying, inside and out. Maybe this time he actually would die. He hoped he would die, it would be better than this constant aching in his chest. And as his bones started to stretch, bend, and break, he felt as if his heart was breaking as well.
(Or, Remus reflects back on his younger years, and wishes he had done something differently.)

The possibility of One For All being sentient doesn't occur to Izuku at first. Honestly, his life would probably be a whole lot easier if it'd stayed that way. As if sharing his body with half a dozen spirits and trying to harness their stockpiled power wasn't enough, now they're starting to influence him. And he doesn't know how to make it stop.
(Or: One For All is sentient and that's a problem. Really, Izuku just wants to enjoy some scrambled eggs.)

Its like midnight when im reading this so it's kinda hard to put this into words, but I JUST HAD to finish this. This author's writing just sort of.. pulls you in. I can't stop reading it yk. I didn't realize I've read their fantasy fem TDBK b4, but I absolutely LOVE that one too (and hope they finish it) but I do appreciate the familiar environment of this fic. Also I REALLY really want the DabiHawks of this universe, or see them interacting. BUT I fear we'll never get it. Anyways, LOVE LOVE LOVE this fic. Gets.. pretty heavy in the middle and has some tonal whiplash, but it all get resolved in the end!! Honestly I THINK THE BEST AND MOST REALISTIC TDBK IVE EVER READ! There, I said it! Fantastic fic, 10/10 100% recommend.

“Fuck it,” Bakugou exhales angrily, more to himself, and then suddenly is leaning over Shouto where he sits, arms by his sides and face close to his. "It doesn't matter what kind of weird mind game you're playing. I'll beat you no matter how much better than me you think you are."
"When you're not acting out I actually respect you a lot," Shouto corrects mildly. It's said in part because he wishes Bakugou would get over this complex and in part because he's starting to develop a knack for making Bakugou pull the face he's pulling now. "You're really not that bad these days."
Bakugou blinks furiously, then sags abruptly, expression gone disheartened. "You've lost it. I- what's next? You gonna declare your love for me mid-battle?”
“I don’t think so, no,” Shouto replies, instinctively, then stills, thinking about it.
“I’m fucking- going,” Bakugou continues, undeterred and jittery. “Fucking weirdo.”
He's up and gone in a hurry, casting a last disturbed glance back over his shoulder, and Shouto stays very still, looking blankly at the sky.
Well, shit.
He thinks he may have missed a few things while redefining his feelings.
