    There's only one thing that matters now; it's not emotions, it's not sensations, it's just finding Aizawa... alive.

    Bakugou just has to be controlled, calm, practical and unfeeling.

    There's not much use for him but the least he can do is stay out of the way, keep himself under control, and forget about everything that isn't finding Aizawa.

    Maybe when Aizawa is found... alive... he can let go. Maybe.

    Darkness, silence, hands on the shoulders.

    And Eraserhead, and Shouta, and no kids, no one he loves.

    Aizawa just has to focus on breathing and he'll make it out of here fine, it doesn't matter how long it's been, nothing matters except breathing.

    And when the building shakes for the first time, breathing briefly becomes easier.
