“And you,” he continues leisurely as if a knife wasn’t pointed at his throat, turning his head towards Chuuya and staring at him with a deep black pupil, “you must be Nakahara Chuuya. Quite well known around here.”
“Wha…”
“My name is Shuji Tsushima. I was about to jump into the ocean when a bunch of kids tried to rob me.”It’s in Suribachi, where he lives with the Sheep, that Chuuya meets Shuji.

It was dark, cold, and wet.
The night in the area was buzzing to life. Traffic spiraled, drunk drivers drove and citizens roamed. The fresh smell of petrichor mixed with a smokey smell filled the air. This, was Yokohama, Japan.
But, beyond all the flashing lights and buildings of the bustling city, something else was going on amongst the quieter areas. Along a small, yet deep canal, a teenager was taking a midnight dip in hopes to drown himself.

Summary
Everything was gone. A chasm in his mind where he knew there should be something, anything. He couldn't remember anything. His breath came faster than he knew what to do with it now.
"Nothing- there's- I can't remember anything-" He grit the words out through gasping breaths as he tried not to hyperventilate.
"Easy, boy," The voice became a figure as it stepped in front of him. He was draped in ropes and held the face of a man who'd been around a long time. "You'll only tire yourself."
Jason tried to calm down. He was trying, he really was. But not knowing who or where he was didn't exactly inspire a tranquil state of mind.
"You are Jason Todd," the man said, "Member of the League of Assassins, Haras Malki of Ra's al Ghul."

Jason loses his memory after his dip in the Lazarus Pit, and Ra's uses it to turn him into a weapon.
