Before he can finish, his eyes land on my breasts, surely spotting my nipples through the fabric. His ears go from pink to red while his gaze is locked there for a couple seconds. He awkwardly glances off to the side, as if he's afraid to take me in for too long.
“What's wrong?” I ask. “Why won't you look at me?”
“Uhhh… I'm seein’ a whooole lotta pipsqueak right now,” he says with a nervous chuckle. “Tryin' to be respectful.”
“Oh, come on, Caleb,” I huff. “You've seen me in a bikini. What's the big deal?”
“I couldn't see your nipples through your bikini,” he quips, stifling another nervous laugh.

Caleb and Lucy have been dating for a couple weeks without fooling around yet. He comes home from a mission, she's there in lingerie and they get down to business. Things are awkward and new but he makes sure she enjoys herself as much as he does.
Set about a month after events of Lucid Dream end.

I blink, watching for a sign that he's teasing me, or trying to get me to say something stupid.
“Sometimes,” I reply, honest but remaining guarded. He laughs again, sounding genuinely amused.
“How much do you like me, sometimes? As a friend?”
I stay silent, unsure what to say.
“Or is it more than that, hm?” he ponders aloud. “Enough to let me in at three in the morning, it seems.”

Preston is fairly fresh out of college, working tech for the Hunter's Association, Caleb's still working for the DAA. And they were roommates.

I was inspired by an old favorite song - The Take Over, The Break's Over by Fall Out Boy. I really wanted to make a story about a protective A!Astarion reuniting with his ex-lover who has a shit husband and it became a WAY longer story than I intended. Super smutty and quite heavy throughout.

Summary
She was never supposed to exist. A union between a god and mortal. Yet, she was born and then raised to be a loyal pawn to her father's machinations. Now several hundred years later, she's decided that she's had enough. Enough of being told what to do. Of watching her father ruin the same lives over and over because they defied him and tried to have happiness and love. She was done with Astra's bullshit.
Now living in the modern world, she works to correct her father's mistakes and make sure he no longer has the power to ruin lives. She works to re-connect souls and hearts. To bring five men jaded and hurt by fate back to their loved one. But what happens when she catches their attention as well. Will she accept their love or stand aside so they could have her back in their arms.
After all, she wasn't born to love. To have happiness. She was born to correct the past and rewrite the future.
She isn't allowed to love. Is she?
