Summary
Corporal Makayla Sully believed she was the last of her family. Her parents were long gone, her brother Tom was killed for his wallet, and his twin Jake abandoned her in exchange for the sunny paradise Pandora. Kayla is informed of Jake's passing and so she decides to take a job opportunity with General Frances Ardmore. She hitches a ride to Pandora with the intent of recovering her brother's remains, twenty years since the last time she's seen him. Instead of a box of bones or ash, however, she's given something she thought she lost a long time ago.

Summary
More than a decade after the Na’vi repelled the human invasion, the sky people have returned and they’re here to stay. Miles Quaritch has awoken with the size, strength, and speed of a recombinant avatar body and his sights are set on Jake Sully, leader of the Na’vi insurgency. He only needs to find him.
Petra Hart interned at Hell’s Gate fifteen years ago, a prodigy of Dr. Augustine who was one of the few humans chosen to stay on Pandora. Determined to defend her home, she will stop at nothing to make up for being locked in a jail cell during the last war, unable to fight.
When Petra is taken by the recombinants of Project Phoenix while desperately defending Sully’s children, Quaritch convinces her to ride along with them in search of the Sully family. He wields an ultimatum she never knew existed: her avatar, brought from earth. That, of course, and threat of death. Petra agrees. She can buy Sully time. She only hopes it is enough.
Completed. This is an enemies-to-lovers romance between OC Petra Hart and recombinant Miles Quaritch that sprinkles in a redemption arc.
