But Max Verstappen is impossible to ignore. Sharp-edged, impossible, infuriating- and somehow the only one who understands that brutal, animal part of you that just wants to win. The part that doesn’t flinch from the blood.
You don’t like him. You don’t trust him. And yet… when everything else is politics and performance, he’s the only one who makes you feel real.
This was never supposed to be a love story. It was supposed to be survival. But when you're driving with Max, they’re the same thing.

A Chess Grandmaster died alone when he was 78 years old. When he woke up expecting the afterlife, he got reincarnated back to 2010 when he was 5 years old. From then on, he uses his skills and knowledge to become one of the youngest GMs ever in the history of chess. He promised himself he won't squander this golden opportunity that was given to him.
Oh, and he also convinced his parents to buy Bitcoin early.
This story will have lots of chess games and notations. So if you can't visualize the board, use the analysis board at chess.com or your own device to witness the greatness of the chess positions in this story. This story is also in no way a jab at the real players IRL. I don't own any characters in this story except my own.
I also take IRL games from GMs and IMs to make these games in my story because I am in no way as good as them lmao. I'm just a 2000 on chess.com with love for the game and I want to share it with you guys with my own story.
