Summary
She sauntered into Daniel's lab, and he briefly looked up at her, peeling his eyes off of some ancient text or something, she wasn't quite sure. "Good morning," he greeted.
"Morning, darling," she made her way to the stool next to him, and sat herself down. "Have you eaten yet?" She asked.

"You ready to tackle Christmas dinner today?" She asked.
"No. Teal'c's a better cook than me, and you've had his stuffing before."
Well… he wasn't wrong about that. Stuffing wasn't exactly Teal'c's forte. But you can't blame the guy, he's only been on this specific planet for nine years, and perfecting his stuffing recipe wasn't exactly top of his to-do-list.
"Frozen foods come to the rescue every time."

Leaning back, she sighed as she looked down at him. A hand made its way to his hair, and she ran her hands through it, discreetly trying to tame it.

Daniel covered the yawn that took over with his hand, and stretched his left arm in Sam's direction, settling around her shoulders. It protested at the action, an ache forming, but he ignored it and did it anyway. He was going to have this moment.

Summary
This series is of an alternate reality where Sam actually married Pete. The first part is of the wedding, and the second part is based a year or so later, and Sam and Pete are getting a divorce.
The reason I’ve made this a series instead of just adding chapters onto ‘So I’m never gonna dance again, the way I dance with you.’ Is because I really liked that fic, I liked the ending, (even though I’m a diehard S/J shipper) and I wanted to keep it so that could be the end, or you can read the next part and get the happy ending.

Summary
Meeting him for the first time was a chance encounter. A million to one possibility. Accidental. Life changing. For better or worse, neither was sure at the time, but it was life altering nonetheless.
Courtney Veras is an up and coming ADA lawyer, eager to prove herself and bring justice to a city teetering on the edge of chaos, mired in gang violence and corruption. One chance night, she finds Duncan, the city's most notorious gang leader, bleeding out. Against all instincts, she saves his life, expecting it to be a single, clean choice. It isn't, and Courtney unwillingly finds herself dragged into a world she never wanted to be a part of—Duncan's.
Drawn to her in ways he doesn't fully understand, Duncan finds himself captivated. She insists she hates him, but a slow burning tension sparks that neither can ignore. As the city's gang conflict grows, Duncan wrestles with his own identity—monster vs man, persona vs self—while Courtney fights to hold her morals, her career, and growing conflicted feelings towards a man she should fear.
Caught between right and wrong, they navigate ever-growing danger, moral compromise, the uneasy truths of who they really are, and a chemistry that refuses to be repressed.
