Bilbo Baggins dies a day out from the shore of the Pure Lands. While his passing was not planned, he was not surprised. When the reaper leaves him to walk his path to the Garden alone, Bilbo comes to the conclusion no one would miss one little hobbit, so instead of heading down the path, he decides to go on one last adventure. He always had meant to make it to the mountain one last time, and now he has all the time in the world.

In the Shire there were two truths. The Tooks were odd and the Baggins were respectable. The Baggins family dealt in contracts and favours, and while the Shire knew that the Tooks were odd, it was the Baggins family that had other blood running through their veins.
Bilbo Baggins did not go running out his door for want of an adventure, he went running out his door because of a terribly worded contract and a laughable quest that somehow held the spark of other.

Damian spreads his hands to the side in a low bow in front of Bruce and says to the roof’s surface, “I entreat you to grant me asylum from the League in your city. In return, I break my bonds with the League and pledge my fealty to your service.” The formal, rehearsed words are at odds with his young age.
Bruce knows that he has to get this child to safety.

So, it didn’t start out like this.
Alfred would scoff at the statement, about how Bruce was trying to justify the whole situation to himself. It had started out as a simple design, black everything with black outlines and black hood. It got a little more intense as the world went on, got wind of his ghost on the streets, and became scared of The Bat . So Bruce got a little more creative with it, Alfred and him had a good laugh over the name, the scare, and Alfred had a vicious streak of humor that he had passed onto his ward-
So now the suit had a visible bat-theme, an insignia to drape in the shadows and to paint across the streets of Gotham.
It only took a year into the whole charade of heroism for Bruce to overhear a conversation between some goons- some low level thug hired by the Riddler this week- about nothing at all pertaining to what the hell the Riddler was doing in the sewers but instead:
“ The Batman can fly, you know, I’ve seen his wings.”

Tim Drake has always been written off as weird. It’s nothing particularly upsetting: as a child, his nannies had commented frequently on his tendency to stare at walls and smile; with his classmates, they would whisper behind his back about the bathroom mirror and how scratch marks mar the surface—it wasn’t there before, they would say, but the scratches were too far apart for Tim to be the cause. He’s an odd kid, unsettling and weird. By now it’s just fact.
Besides, it’s not like they’re wrong. His habit of taking photos at night shows that; Commissioner Gordon’s personal number on his phone wasn’t given to him, Tim just yonked it.
Now, if only he could convince a newly-deceased Jason Todd that no, they’re not being ‘asshats’, please stop overreacting before the teen blows the fuse out of the twentieth bulb this month.
