Xie Lian looked away and squeezed his eyes shut, already imagining something completely indecent: himself, sitting on the lap of the famed and feared Hua Chengzhu in this very gambling hall, rolling his dice for every bet he took and presenting them on his tongue like he had been doing. It was a positively shameful image that he couldn’t stop seeing, and that he couldn’t stop blushing at.
