Summary
After many days of joint adventuring, Lumine and the Wanderer are getting closer to each other. Just as their relationship develops, the Second of the Fatui Harbingers discovers answers that had been plaguing his mind. Namely, he realizes that all the questions that had boggled his mind all traced back to the vacant seat of the Sixth Fatui Harbinger.
Now that he has a working theory, the good Doctor decides it is time to bring an old friend back home. Whether he wants to or not.

Summary
Previously titled as Artificial Divinity.
A canon divergence AU where Lumine and her Sumeru companions fail to stop Scaramouche in the Joururi Workshop, resulting in his widespread dominance across Sumeru. As the nation's new god, he decides to take the renowned Traveler as his bride. Lumine detests the artificial god and doesn't plan to ever give in to his schemes, even if they are now bound as husband and wife. Yet, every now and then, she catches a glimpse of a subtle side of him that leaves her curious, yearning for his proximity.
(This deviation starts halfway through "Where the Boat of Consciousness Lies" in the Archon Quest Chapter III: Act V.)
