“Leon's mercenary.” Jill says without missing a beat.
Leon splutters but doesn't even attempt to deny it. If anything, there's a pleased gleam in his eyes like the fact they think she's his is one of the highest compliments he could receive. Claire thinks a more appt description would be to say Leon was Ada’s pet agent, but she doesn't bother saying it out loud. It isn't like it would take Carlos much to figure that out anyway.OR

Summary
A few scowls were leveled at him disdain clear in their expressions. Leon ignored them however as he took the empty seat meant for him.
“You're late.” Someone grumbled, tone sour and annoyed.
“Yeah, well I just got dropped off here from a mission in Guatemala excuse me if I didn't bring a suit with me.” The agent snarked back.
The way he turned to glare at the speaker caused the light to reflect and show off what might have been dried blood crusted in his hair. He also had the beginnings of a bruise forming on the side of his face.

Summary
Walking into his apartment to see Ada in nothing but his old Raccoon City Police Department pullover had not been what Leon had expected.
He froze at the doorway, his pupils swallowing the blue of his eyes. Ada just smiles up at him from where she is reclined on the couch. Leon feels like he's having an out of body experience and doesn't even register closing the door and making his way over to the woman.
Not until he's looking down at her and swallowing down the sudden desire to lick everywhere he's allowed to. She just smiles up at him with faux innocence like she doesn't know exactly what she's doing to him.

It's a surprisingly reasonable statement from Blue. It also insinuates quite the statement from Red that is very unlike him from what she knows. No one else seems surprised however, and the way Red huffs is telling.

Blue was quicker to the draw however as he rallied faster than Red could manage. He started marching over his scowl clear and oh so familiar. Red went to back up his instincts screaming to get away. The burning look in those familiar eyes screamed danger, but Blue was faster than his half-stumbled retreat.
Before Red could blink Blue had brought back his right arm and threw a punch that landed square on the side of Red's head and left the champion stumbling.
“YOU BASTARD!” Blue screeched before grabbing him with the innocent hand and yanking him into a bone-crushing hug.

Ada invites Leon along on what is supposed to be a relatively straight-forward mission. All they have to do is go undercover and retrieve some files. Easy.
Leon figures he might as well help; missions are always better than paperwork, after all.
And maybe both are looking forward to actually spending some time together on the side.
